What Are Honeycomb Ceramics?
Honeycomb ceramics feature an array of thin, porous walls that form a hexagonal cellular structure, resembling a honeycomb. This geometry provides a high surface area to volume ratio that enhances convective heat transfer. Common substrate materials include silicon carbide, cordierite, alumina, and aluminum titanate. These provide excellent thermal shock resistance, low thermal expansion, and high-temperature capability.

Description:
This product is a kind of special structure and special material of wall flow ceramic honeycomb ceramic filter element, used in the diesel engine exhaust gas purification device, using the hole wall of the pore wall flow filter body, intercept, capture the carbon in the diesel exhaust smoke particles, diesel exhaust gas purification. There are cordierite and silicon carbide material.
